Forager Publications opened its doors in 2003, primarily as an outlet for author Timothy Sean Sykes. After years of working with the “big dogs” in the publishing world, Sykes believed he could bring his work to the public for substantially less money using new Print-On-Demand and eBook technologies.
His earlier efforts with POD – his children’s series (the 2002/2003 publications of F'Lump’s Adventures …) – met with limited success but taught him that he could do what the big dogs had done … but do it at a considerable savings over the mammoth corporations which had heretofore published his One Step at a Time training series.
