1. How can you sell books for so much less than other retailers?

We can't always … but we generally do. Simply put, FP is owned and operated by the author (Timothy Sean Sykes) of most of the books listed in this catalog. He gets a share regardless of who sells the books. We can often offer books for less than retailers because, well, we cut out the middle man (and the big chunk of change the middle man takes). You benefit from the savings.

2. Who handles your credit card transactions?

Credit card transactions go through PayPal. They're the most secure (safest) and cost-effective gateway we could find.

3. The opening page of your website mentions that you'll list other sites that carry your books. Where can I find this list?

We believe in helping our customers find the best deal they can on textbooks. (We were students ourselves … long ago when we took notes by writing on our shovels with coal from the fire … but I digress.)
You'll find a list of links that jump directly to our titles at other web stores at the bottom of each title's information page. You'll also find links to many of our titles in eBook format for those of you who prefer that (less-expensive) tool.

4. What happened to Sykes' children's series - #39;Lump's Adventures?

Thanks for asking!
F'Lump's Adventures with Timmy and Tarbaby and F'Lump's Adventures Continue with Timmy and Tarbaby are not currently available in either print or ebook formats ... but they'll be back!
"I had problems with the illustrations," says Sykes. "The two books used entirely different figures for the main characters. I tried to synchronize the two, but my favorite illustrator wasn't available."
Sykes is currently trying to redo the series - in smaller two-adventure books - using the same figures in both. When he's ready, you'll find them here first!
